- For getting information about infrastructure and expenses on road lines and traffic
Dear Sir or Madam
This is a request under the freedom of information act.
In the current scenario, we all know about the problem of traffic congestion as most of individuals tend to buy their own cars rather than public transportation for commuting to their work, schools and other places and it leads to huge traffic jams and accidents. Today, I like to know about the total expense of the amount which is invested on road infrastructure and other projects that may help to overcome this problem under FOI (Freedom Of |Request Act) i want information why this problem is not reducing after spending too much funds on it. there are number of projects like making roads, tunnels and bridges which have been completed but still, it doesn't control the traffic to a larger extent after spending billions on infrastructure.
In most of the families and houses, i see there are plenty of cars which are parked next to the houses like every family member possesses their own cars and it is also a reason for this issue and I want to know, how many actions government has taken regards to this.
Canadian government is spending most of its gross domestic production on different projects which is related to this concern but their are others steps like limitations on vehicles for buying by a whole family and start more investing on public transport like transit for making them more accurate or comfortable if government has made any decision in this field, i want all action plans which has been used for it.
Thank you for your consideration for this request.
Sincerely,
Parampreet singh,

Hi Parampreet Singh, your FOI request points out a topic which needs to be addressed immediately, as you have mentioned in your request, but it could have been better if you had framed your request concisely as it seems to be too big of a request if we look at it as a whole. Otherwise, your request is very thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteHi Parampreet, this is a very good FOI request. You gave the reader a clear explanation of why you made the request and what you are looking for. The length was good, as it was not short. You provided all the information needed.
ReplyDeleteHello Param! It’s true that excessive use of personal vehicles led to many road accidents and other safety concerns as well. It’s a very thoughtful thing to ask from the respective authority.
ReplyDeleteParamjeet, your request is really thought-provoking! Traffic congestion is such a huge issue, and it's important to understand how much money and effort they're putting into fixing it. Finding out the total expenses and what actions the government has taken is crucial, especially since it affects everyone's daily commute.
